Good News!
The Bible says in Romans 3:23 that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Romans 6:23 tells us that the payment required for sin is death. Since we all have sinned, we all deserve to die. Not just a physical death, but a death that our soul will experience for all of eternity.
Now, here is the GOOD NEWS. Romans 5:8 says that God has shown His love for us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life (John 3:16). Jesus has paid for our sins by dying the death that we deserve. But He didn't stay dead, He arose from the grave conquering death forever. Now, by confessing that we are sinners and believing that Jesus has died for our sins, we can have eternal life. In John 14:6 Jesus said "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." There is no other way. Have you put your faith in Him? Confess, repent, believe! There is no better news than to know that you are a child of God, forgiven, and on your way to Heaven to live forever with Him.
